Robertson Bright Inc. Acquires McDowell Electric Inc.

Mississauga, Ontario based Robertson Bright Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of McDowell Electric Inc. McDowell Electric, established in 1952, with an existing quality personnel base and many well-established clients in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, is providing Robertson Bright Inc. with an increased ability to serve the electrical, industrial electronic, construction and network communication marketplace.

Under the arrangement, McDowell Electric will operate as a subsidiary of Robertson Bright Inc. and becomes the firm's Integrated Control & Automation Systems division. This mutually beneficial relationship will increase the level of services both companies will provide to their existing clients as well as providing synergies allowing further expansion of services by utilizing their newly combined expertise in Infrared Thermography, Industrial Electronic Service & Integration, Electrical Service & Installations, Design Build Industrial-Commercial-Institutional Electrical Projects, and Network Communications.

Robertson Bright Inc., with offices in Mississauga, Peterborough and Calgary will continue to operate McDowell Electric Inc. from its existing offices at 20 Malley Road in Toronto.

Dave Graham, former President of McDowell Electric will assume the position of Vice President of Operations for the RBI group of companies. The closing date of the transaction is December 31, 2008.
